Hugues Defréville and Pierre Delmas co-founded Newheat in 2015, convinced that renewable heat is an essential but often underestimated lever for energy transition.
Hugues, an engineer focused on strategy and development, drove Newheat’s ambition and vision: to reconcile economic performance, environmental impact and industrial transformation. Until his death in March 2025, he guided the company’s growth with rigour and humanity, leaving a strong mark and a clear direction.
Pierre, an engineer specialising in complex thermal systems, devised the technological solutions that make Newheat unique.
He embodied innovation and industrial excellence, with the goal of delivering reliable, high-performance projects to decarbonise heat on a large scale.
Today, this ambition is more alive than ever: to make Newheat the leading player in decarbonised heat, in France and beyond, by combining environmental impact, technical excellence and economic viability.
