The origins of Newheat

Newheat was founded in 2015 by Hugues Defréville and Pierre Delmas, based on a strong conviction: renewable heat is a major lever for energy transition that remains largely untapped.
Entrepreneurs with complementary profiles, they laid the strategic and technological foundations for the company.
Hugues drove Newheat’s development and vision until his death in March 2025, helping to structure its growth and positioning.
Pierre, a specialist in complex thermal systems, designed the technological solutions that now form the industrial foundation of Newheat.

The company is now continuing its development by building on these foundations: technical excellence, economic viability and a concrete contribution to the decarbonisation of thermal applications.

Newheat Latam

In 2025, we launched Newheat Latam, our joint venture dedicated to decarbonising copper and lithium mines in Latin America.
