Summary
A project carried out by Newheat Latam, our joint venture with Sunmark Chile, dedicated to the decarbonisation of copper mines in Chile.
The solar thermal plant supplies heat to Codelco‘s Gabriela Mistral copper mine in Chile. It replaces 85% of the fossil fuel used in the electro-extraction process.
