Lactosol solar thermal plant wins IEA SHC Solar Award 2024

Lactosol solar thermal plant project supplying renewable heat to Lactalis Verdun industrial site, was awarded the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Prize 2024 on August 29. Newheat team accepted the award during the EuroSun 2024 event in Limassol, Cyprus.

The IEA SHC Solar Award recognizes an individual, company or private/public entity every other year for an outstanding achievement in solar heating and cooling.

With this year’s award, IEA SHC recognizes a project that reduces costs and emissions by incorporating solar thermal technologies in an industrial process.
