Our expertise
We are a renewable and sustainable heat supplier. We offer innovative decarbonization solutions for industries and district heating networks in France and abroad.
For sustainable and decarbonized energy
Today, heat accounts for 50% of humanity’s primary energy needs. More than 80% of it is produced by fossil fuels such as gas, fuel oil, and coal. Given these findings, the development of renewable heat is an important lever for reducing CO2 emissions and thus limiting global warming.
At Newheat, we create energy solutions that help cities and industries reduce their carbon footprint.

Prioritize renewable and recovery energies
Our objective is clear: to prioritize the different resources available with the objective of short-term competitiveness and long-term sustainability according to the following model:
Our approach is based on a combination of different technologies adapted to the needs of our customers and combining waste heat recovery, solar thermal, geothermal, short and long-term thermal storage systems, optimized electrification solutions (industrial heat pumps, etc.) and, if necessary, in addition, combustion of renewable resources (biomass, etc.).
We create tailor-made renewable heat production plants to provide our customers with low-carbon and sustainable energy.
Modeling, Engineering and Piloting
-
Modeling
We precisely model our systems and their interaction with our customers' processes and networks, which allow us to adapt their design and optimize their operation.
-
Design engineering
We master a wide range of technical expertise: solar, hydraulic, thermal, and automation engineering. Thanks to these skills, we select the technologies best suited to our clients' processes and heating networks, while optimizing their sizing and implementation.
-
Control & command system
For each project, we define and implement a dedicated and optimized control solution that ensures reliable and efficient operation of all the equipment in our plants, in perfect coordination with that of our customers.
Our Research & Development programs
Our technical team is heavily involved in Research & Development programs that have won national and European competitions.

OPTISHIP Project
Discover the projectProject sheetThe “SME Initiative” project was selected as part of the Investment for the Future Program led by ADEME. Launched in 2016 and completed in 2018, it aimed to improve the reliability, competitiveness, and predictability of thermal energy supplied by solar thermal plants for the heat needs of industrial processes.
-
ISORC Project
Project sheetCall for Research Projects selected by ADEME and ANR
Launched in 2017 and completed in 2020, its objective was to develop tools to facilitate the integration of solar thermal energy into heating networks.
-
SCALE&MIX Project
Discover the projectProject sheetProject selected as part of the Innovation Competition led by ADEME
Launched in 2018 and completed in 2021, it aimed to develop technical solutions to overcome the main obstacles limiting the deployment of large solar thermal plants.
-
REMINE-WATER Project
Découvrir le projetFiche du projetProject selected as part of the European Union’s LIFE call for projects
Launched in 2018, its objective is to minimize wastewater discharges from mines and contribute to the circular economy by reusing most of the discharged water and recovering valuable substances contained in the water from mining industry processes.
-
THERMODEEP Project
Discover the projectProject sheetProject selected as part of the i -Nov Innovation Competition funded by the Investment for the Future Program and led by ADEME. Launched in 2021, it involves deepening the techniques for modeling, design, management, and operation of large renewable heat production plants using the most virtuous recovery and production technologies, without input, combustion, or particle emissions and limiting the impact on natural resources, to produce heat up to 100°C. They will aim for 100% decarbonization rates for heat-consuming processes.
-
INDHEAP Project
Discover the projectSupported by the European Union, the INDHEAP project aims to demonstrate the efficiency and viability of solar thermal and photovoltaic technologies to meet the heat and electricity needs of medium-temperature industrial processes (up to 250°C). Launched in 2024, this program aims to revolutionize industrial energy consumption by reducing dependence on natural gas and contributing to the EU’s carbon neutrality objectives through solar energy. By 2027, a demonstration plant will be installed at a lubricants plant, marking a major step towards a more sustainable industry.
-
TREASURE Project
Discover the projectThe TREASURE project is an innovative initiative supported by the European Union under its HORIZON 2.5 – Climate, Energy and Mobility program. Launched in 2024, it aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of pit thermal storage systems in decarbonizing district heating networks. The TREASURE consortium, composed of 24 European partners, aims to deliver several operational demonstrators by 2027.

Projet PEPHEAT MANQUE TRADUCTION

NARBOFLEX Project
The NARBOFLEX project is funded by ADEME as part of the “Advanced Energy Systems Technologies” (TASE) acceleration strategy. It aims to develop and implement a power-to-heat solution integrated with the existing NARBOSOL solar thermal plant and its storage system. This combined system would be a world first. The project aims to increase the decarbonization rate of the Narbonne heating network while providing the electricity grid operator with a frequency regulation service for the national electricity grid.
This project was funded by the French State as part of France 2030 operated by ADEME
